一、依據臺中市政府文化局105年5月11日中市文藝字第1050010505號函辦理。
二、為推廣該市特有之樂器文化，臺中市政府文化局每年辦理臺中樂器節暨樂器演奏比賽，將樂器文化推展至一般常民生活。本次比賽歡迎各地愛樂、愛秀之演奏者踴躍參賽，以時下流行之曲目輕鬆切磋交流。
三、活動相關訊息如下：
(一)報名期間：即日起至105年7月17日(日)止。
(二)比賽時間：105年8月6日(六)至7日(日)。
(三)比賽地點：本市后里區后里運動公園。
(四)比賽組別：薩克斯風學生組/大專社會組、長笛學生組/大專社會組、爵士鼓學生組/大專社會組(皆為個人演奏)。
