一、為提升偏鄉地區國中小教師英語教學專業知能並增進國際交流，教育部國教署104年委請國立臺灣師範大學辦理偏遠國中小英語教師海外研習計畫，申請獲錄取之偏遠地區國中小教師於赴海外研習期間，除強化教學新知外並與海外合作單位共同研擬視訊課程內容，返國後落實於課堂教學之中，豐富學生學習經驗及提升英語學習成效。
二、為推展前揭計畫實施成效及經驗分享，將訂於104年12月26日（星期六）假高雄市蓮潭國際會館辦理成果發表會，邀請本計畫之海外合作機構美國西華盛頓大學及赴海外研習之國中小教師，以座談會形式分享研習成果與經驗，教育部國教署並將於成果發表會中說明105年教師海外研習辦理方式。
