一、計畫目的：為了鼓勵科學教師將探究教學落實於課程中，將舉辦「探究教學教案設計徵選」，讓已進行探究教學的教師和有興趣進行探究教學的教師都能將他們探究教學的創意教案呈現出來，進行徵選，同時也能幫助更多教師了解如何進行探究教學，達到推廣探究教學的目的。
二、辦理單位：
(一)指導單位：教育部國民及學前教育署。
(二)主辦單位：國立彰化師範大學。
(三)協辦單位：中華民國科學教育學會。
三、參賽對象：
(一)全國國中自然與生活科技領域教師（含正式教師、實習教師及代理代課教師）。
(二)教案設計可跨校合作，每件作品至多2名作者，且至少1位正式教師參與設計。
