一、依據行政院農業委員會特有生物研究保育中心107年10月1日農特解字第1073605293號函辦理。
二、本案係為提升國中小學童對於里山生態之認識，並走入戶外實際體驗環境保育之重要，將10月5日定為「石虎日」，10月至12月推出認識里山生物系列活動，以激發學校師生對於台灣里山生態之興趣，並協助未來生態保育工作。
三、本計畫將接受50所國中小學申請至保育教育館(南投縣集集鎮民生東路1號)進行環境教育，活動期間為民國107年10月至107年12月15日止。
四、本活動申請時間為收文日至額滿為止，依申請順序進行補助及協助戶外教學活動事宜。本計畫由主辦單位補助活動保險與午餐，每人酌收50元(含門票與材料費)，隨行老師人員最多5人免費，並可登錄環境教育時數。
