二、水痘主要是經由皮膚直接接觸、飛沫或空氣傳染，也可經由被水液和黏膜分泌物汙染的器物而間接感染，出現症狀之幼童應立即就醫並採取隔離措施，減少出入公共場所，應配戴口罩並穿著長袖衣物，直到水泡完成結痂變乾為止。
三、校園係學童聚集之場所，水痘好發年齡層以3至9歲幼童占多數，近年逐漸後移到9至15歲，校園群聚以小學占多數；各校如出現群聚感染現象，學校應落實即時通報，請出現症狀之病童立即就醫並請假在家休息，另教室保持室內空氣流通及加強環境清毒，並衛教師生應勤洗手並自主健康管理，有出現症狀之師生應立即就醫。
