二、PLB（Personal Locator Beacon以下簡稱PLB）持有者資訊登錄於105年6月30日起由交通部主政，PLB持有者資訊登錄請向航港局所屬各航務中心申請資訊登錄。PLB係個人指位無線電示標，輕巧且易於攜帶，國內外民眾於偏遠地區或行動電話涵蓋範圍外從事山域、海域活動遇險時，可透過PLB發送406MHz遇險求救信號經國際衛星輔助搜救系統（COSPAS-SARSAT）傳送至地面接收站，再由臺北任務管制中心（TAMCC）通報行政院國家搜救指揮中心，便可展開救援工作。
三、PLB須完成個人資訊登錄辨識身分，才能發揮緊急求救功能。當PLB持有者發生緊急事件或狀況危急時，啟動PLB，其可提供持有人PLB座標，經查證後再轉知救難單位以免浪費搜救資源。
四、PLB持有者相關申請資訊登錄表格置放於航港局官網，請PLB持有人儘速完成登錄：交通部航港局全球資訊網／下載專區／航安類／項下。
