一、 本園區為本局首件依「促進民間參與公共建設法」執行文化教育設施委外之案例，委由大日開發有限公司營運管理之公辦民營ROT設施，為提供各領域青年族群探索體驗與休閒遊憩服務之場域。
二、 本園區擁有52項符合美國挑戰課程技術協會（Association for Challenge Course Technology, ACCT）認證的高低空體驗設施、自我確保體驗設施，是北臺灣最豐富探索體驗園區。園區另有CS安全弓箭體驗、人體手足球場、風雨操場、遊憩場等多種戶外設施及多功能會議廳、教室及課程宿舍等室內空間可綜合規劃運用(如附件介紹)。
三、 本園區座落於本市新屋區，鄰近永安漁港，周邊相關生態、文化景點豐富多樣，歡迎各機關、學校及相關單位將本園區列為辦理研習會議、訓練成長營、員工旅遊及校外教學等活動之參考場域。
