一、依據行政院環境保護署環境檢驗所108年4月26日環檢一字第1080002443號函辦理。
二、為促進環境分析化學技術交流，提升國內環境分析技術之研發與改進，協助落實國家環境保護之政策目標，爰規劃辦理旨述研討會（研討會資訊請參考社團法人中華民國環境分析學會網站http://www.ceas.org.tw/）。
三、另本年為響應4月22日世界地球日及6月5日世界環境日，行政院環境保護署首度將4月至6月定為「環境季」，主題為「與野共生、永續環境」，共有15項系列活動，包含攝影徵選、環境教育舞台劇、淨溪淨攤、綠化植樹以及消費集點等(可至環境季官方網站及臉書查詢各活動時間與地點https://www.epa.gov.tw/ED/843CC94228137412)。其中與綠色永續主題「科普知識學習之旅-認識PM2.5活動」，將於5月17日於本研討會舉行場地同時辦理，除於活動現場介紹PM2.5科普知識外，同時將播放影片並實際操作PM2.5採樣儀器及展示採集的樣品，歡迎鼓勵貴校教師及高中以上學生踴躍參加。
