一、依據新北市政府教育局107年12月20日新北教技字第10723855001號函辦理。
二、為提升學生職場與生活應用專業英文聽力與詞彙能力，新北市政府教育局與國立臺灣師範大學合辦旨揭競賽(以下簡稱英文菁英盃競賽)，培養國際化的競爭力與移動力。
三、英文菁英盃競賽相關說明如下：
(一)參賽對象：新北市高中職、國中學生及就讀北區（含新北市、臺北市、基隆市、桃園市、新竹縣市、宜蘭縣、花蓮縣市等地區）之大(專)學生及任教於北區之各級學校教師。
(二)專業英語：「觀光」、「資訊」、「餐飲」、「電機電子」、「汽車工業」、「機械工業」、「商業與管理」、「教育」、「美容彩妝」、「數位多媒體設計」、「醫學與護理」、「會計」與「生活與職場應用」，共13大職類。
(三)競賽內容：分為「詞彙」及「聽力」2項。
